Multi Level Diver

Class Description

This course is designed to be an introduction to multilevel diving and to help the students develop the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary for this type of diving.

Course Overview
This course covers the knowledge and techniques of multilevel diving. The minimum number of recommended hours is 12, with time being equally divided between academic and actual water-training sessions.

The following is included in the program:

  • The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of multilevel diving.
  • Definition and advantages of multilevel diving.
  • Methods of calculation multilevel dives.
  • Review of decompression theory.
  • Review of Emergency decompression procedures.
  • Review of PADI's S.A.F.E. campaign.
  • Procedures for flying after diving.
  • Guidelines, rules and procedures for multilevel diving with the PADI wheel.
  • Care and Maintenance of dive computers.

Class Prerequisite

To qualify for the Multilevel Diver course, an individual must:

  • Be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Diver or equivalent.
  • Be 12 years of age or older.
  • Complete Scuba Equipment
  • Slate
  • Whistle
  • Knife
  • Log Book
  • Recreations Dive Planner (Table or Wheel)
  • Spare Parts Kit
  • PADI Advanced Training Manual
  • Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving
  • Students must have completed at least two open water training dives before taking this course.

This course is designed to give you the knowledge and skills necessary to plan and execute a multi-level dive safely. All equipment students require can be rented and or purchased in any one of our retail stores.
